A Georgian house built in 1838 for Britton Jones, a Launceston brewer and innkeeper. All the interior woodwork is Australian cedar. The house is a fine example of domestic architecture of the period, and at one time it was used as a school for boys. The National Trust has restored and furnished the house and recreated the original Georgian family home.

The Wildlife Park has emus, Tasmanian devils, wombats, parrots, owls and alpacas. It is open seven days from 1000 to 1630, and offers a play area for children and a free gas barbecue.
